We've designed two flexible ways to work with us — whether you want us to handle everything, or you prefer to bring your own ingredients and watch us press. Either way, you leave with oil you can trust completely.
Contact us via WhatsApp or the enquiry form on our Contact page. Tell us which oil(s) you want — Sunflower, Groundnut, or Coconut — and how much you need. We'll confirm availability and give you an estimated ready date.
We procure seeds from our network of trusted local farmers — people we know personally, whose produce we inspect before purchase. We prioritize seeds that are: clean and dry, free from pesticides where possible, stored correctly to preserve quality and freshness.
Seeds are fed into our cold-press machine. The entire extraction happens at temperatures below 40°C — no heat treatment, no chemical solvents, no bleaching. The oil flows out naturally, golden and fragrant. The remaining seed cake (expeller) is a protein-rich byproduct we either return to you or compost responsibly.
Your oil is bottled immediately in clean, food-grade glass or BPA-free containers — no storage in bulk tanks. You collect it fresh from our facility or we arrange local delivery. Each bottle is labelled with the oil type, press date, and best-before date so you always know what you're using.
Buy seeds from your local market, a farmer you trust, or harvest from your own garden. We recommend dry, clean seeds that have been stored in a cool environment. Seeds that are damp, mouldy, or have visible impurities will affect the quality and yield of the oil.
Bring your seeds to our pressing location during our operating hours. We'll inspect them on arrival — checking for moisture, contamination, and general quality. If everything checks out, we'll give you an estimated pick-up time or invite you to wait while we press.
Your seeds go into our cold-press machine — and only your seeds. We clean the machine between batches so there's no cross-contamination. You're welcome to watch the entire process. The oil flows out fresh, golden, and naturally aromatic. No additions. No mixing with other batches.
We bottle your oil on-site and hand it directly to you. You can bring your own clean glass containers, or we'll provide clean bottles. The seed cake (expeller) is returned to you too — it's rich in protein and fibre, useful as animal feed or compost. Nothing from your seeds goes to waste.
Yield varies by seed quality, moisture content, and variety. These are typical ranges from well-dried, quality seeds. Cold-pressing gives slightly lower yield than chemical extraction — that's because we're not using solvents to squeeze out every last drop.
For Option A, we typically require 1–2 days notice so we can source fresh seeds. For Option B, if you arrive with seeds during working hours, we can press same-day — usually within 1–2 hours depending on volume.
For a family of 4 using oil regularly, we recommend a 1–2 litre order every 4–6 weeks. Cold-pressed oil is best used within 3–4 months of pressing — the fresher, the better. Avoid buying in bulk if you can't use it quickly, as freshness is the entire point.
Yes — many customers blend oils for different uses. We press them separately (to maintain purity) and you can mix at home to your preference. Some people blend groundnut and sunflower for an everyday cooking oil with both heat stability and lightness.
Store in a cool, dark place — a cupboard away from the stove is ideal. Glass bottles are preferable. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat. Coconut oil may solidify below 24°C — this is completely normal and does not affect quality; simply warm the bottle briefly.
Since we're a neighborhood business, we currently offer local delivery within our area. Reach out to us on WhatsApp with your address and we'll confirm if delivery is possible for your location. Our goal is always to get oil to you as fresh as possible.
The seed cake is the protein-rich solid left after oil extraction. For Option B, we return it to you — it's excellent as animal feed, garden compost, or can be used in cooking (peanut expeller, for example, is used in traditional recipes). For Option A, we compost or repurpose it responsibly — nothing is wasted.
